I mean in Penang, not in other area like KL or etc.

Why I said so?

First, the menu does not state any price for all the items. Asking for the price?! The waiter said each item is priced differently. Thus I ‘could not know’ how much it is (of course I can insist to request for an answer, but then it will be very super ‘sien’ if I need to do so for a meal).

Second, each item came in small bowl respectively. The specified ingredients were stuffed inside, therefore I could assume the soup content inside is about 6 spoons of soup.

Oh ya! One impressive feature is the bowl is heated up underneath. Therefore the ingredients and soup still remain hot (or at least 2/3) during your whole course of meal.

Third, the stomach and intestine were not cooked to the standard I expected, they remained rather chewy still.

Fourth, they only serve tea or plain water. No other choices. [...]

Last week I went to Pappa Rich for two days consecutively. My rating for the food is : 80% beh khi.

Now only I realized I should have appreciated more on Apex @ Queensbay area.

Pappa Energy Detox Tea with Honey (RM5.90+) , Teh C Hot (RM2.80+)

It’s basically like ceylon tea + honey. I do not know what is the DETOX about? For me, it tasted pretty weird and bitter at the first sip. I wonder where did the honey taste go?

The Teh C was milder than Old Town one.

Pappa Curry Laksa Special with Foo Chok (RM9.90+), Pappa Curry Laksa (RM8.90+)

TOOOOOOOOOOOO lemak liao! Really like eating / drinking curry. This was stated at the first page of the menu therefore I thought it must be something like their signature dish uh?! Oh no……I swear I’ll never order this again, even if it’s given FOC.

I still remember last time the drumstick of KFC used to be big and juicy. Once smell the fragance of the fried chicken already saliva coming out!

I tried to figure out what’s the best way to show how small the size is now…..

That was my first time there. I have high hope on Thirty Two but then from the dinner I had on that night, SORRY to say …..I was rather disappointed loh.

I was not biased towards Kozue but everytime I went (three times already oh!), there wasn’t any satisfactory one. Why? could it be due to “taukeh tak ada” ?
