In day time the outside pool looks clearer huh?!

Well, if I was to stay for more than one day, then maybe I got the chance to enjoy sitting here.

Novotel Bali Nusa Dua Hotel & Residences

Save the best for last! My super VIP grade enjoyment in Bali has to go this place, the hotel that I stayed for my first night.

“Located in the heart of gated resort community of Nusa Dua, 20 minutes away from the Ngurah Rai International Airport. The hotel is surrounded by an 18-hole golf course.”

Hmm….I didn’t really understand what “gated resort community” means until I was there. In other words you need to drive a certain distance from the main gate security guard house to your hotel’s security guard booth. No hawker stalls or shops are located outside the hotel for you to buy supper. Ha!  You will have to dine and carry out your activities in the hotel only. The only place for you to explore is the beach, which is in walking distance.

From the AsiaMiles (Cathay Pacific), I managed to redeem a one-night-stay at Novotel Nusa Dua Bali. It is a Deluxe Room (~USD166 per night). I was given only this choice as the Mercure Hotel (just beside the Hard Rock Bali Hotel) at Kuta Beach was fully booked.

“Well, never mind lah. One night only after all. ” I thought.

Who knows when I reached there to check in (very late at night), I was upgraded (free of charge) from Deluxe Room to Three Bedroom Suite with Pool (~USD432 per night). *Fuyoh! Totally unexpected!*

Deluxe Room (50-sqm room with balcony, separate shower and bath tub. Perfect for that casual holiday for two, available in King- and Hollywood-Twin bedding.)

Three Bedroom Suite With Pool. Got private pool oh!!!
A private, 4×4 meter plunge pool complements this three bedroom suite in two King-bedded and one Twin-bedded rooms configuration, living room with DVD player, dining and kitchen area with two balconies housed in this spacious 180-sqm suite.

OK! Let’s move on to see how impressed I was………

Omelette – the best food to fill up my stomach during trip.

Bacon – very crispy!

Second day was better, got fried tang hoon and chicken.

Donuts and pastries – To get ready for afternoon snack.

First day – fried mee was bad, matched with fried brinjals.
