Story telling time again!

This is pretty much like OldTown. The Station One menu has very attractive dish photos. Scroll down to see the full list of menu.

I heard from Mdy that the sandwich dishes look very yummy but she failed to order as the waiter told her that it’s FINISHED. It’s weekend when she experienced this.

I saw the croissant being so colourful & yummy look, I ‘ticked’ one in the order list too. Guess what? I got the same answer. Mind you, this time it’s weekday.

AND….I heard the table beside me wishing to order the same and was turned down their order too. I do not know how many sandwich orders do they reject per day?!

I asked,” Finished or you ppl do not serve? My friend came last week also takda, I come today also takda.” Then he admitted, “Yeah, sorry, we don’t serve actually ALL these items under Sandwich page”

Why not putting the “N/A” stickers across the page leh har?! Easy loh. No need so ma fan. *Geram*

I hope that the new outlet opening soon @ Queensbay will serve loh. “Poe pi poe pi, don’t disappoint me lah, can ah ?!”

Hot White Coffee (RM2.90+) , Hot Honey (RM3.60+)

Mushroom Soup (RM4.90+) – This brown colour mushroom soup is very thick in taste. Considered above satisfactory level.

Egg Sauce Yee Mee (RM6.90+). Not bad at all! Far far better than the koay teow below.

Fried Chicken Wings (RM8.90+) . I like this, unexpectedly. Not over-fried, skin remained crunchiness with meat ‘wak lyut lyut’!

Chicken Kway Teow Soup (RM6.90+). This is the photo taken when it’s first served. Not too bad huh!

Who knows after stirring….. “Adui, the koay teow is A LOT leh!” I hardly see my soup liao! Halfway eating through my soup already kena sucked liao liao! Anyway, the soup base also not very ngam me, tasted slightly weird. This one is totally OUT if compared to OldTown’s Kai See Hor Fun loh but for sure it fills up your stomach good!

Canton Gourmet 唐人街咖啡廳 @ Krystal Point

Don’t you ever use either Canton-i or Dragon-i standard here. This one has nothing to do with either of them and is far affordable in terms of price. You got to be ready giving ‘discounts’ on your expectation if you plan to head over for this restaurant though.

Vegetable Spring Rolls 春卷 5pcs (RM5.90) . This one is far better than the one I had at Coffee Island before. One piece was ‘stolen’ fast enough before I managed to shoot.

Pork Ribs Rice (秘製排鼓王飯) RM6.90 . This is a pretty standard type of lunch set. the rice/porridge is in the range of RM5.90 – RM8.90.

Mushroom Shanghai Noodles Soup (鮮菇上海面) RM5.90 . I actually did not expect to be served with such button mushrooms from cans as its main source of mushrooms. Luckily the noodles were not too bad. The addition of BROCCOLI reminded me of my days back in US though! Argh!

Prawn Dumpling Soup (蝦皇水餃湯) RM8.90. I did not develop any allergies from eating the prawns, thus they are considered ‘not poisonous’ to me -pass my basic requirement.

Shark Fin Soup (魚翅湯) RM8.90. I did not fancy its shark fin soup as it tasted pretty same like Dragon Y one.

Menu is pretty simple in one card form.

In general, mai hiam beh pai loh. Hopefully it gonna sustain.

Wowo! Secret Recipe also serves Sarawak Laksa now uh?! Who tasted it before? Please tell me what the similarity percentage of this dish is if compared to the genuine Sarawak Laksa. I am eager to know!

Apple Cheese Cake. A bit sourish yet cheesy, kinda appetizing as it’s not merely sweet.

Chocolate Cake. I would say, NORMAL lah.

No doubt the ambience is very comfy and cozy but….

I did not care about how bad the reviews were on the food for the past few months but from the verdict of this dining experience on one of the weekdays (last week), it’s simply not worth my second visit unless going for a drink.

Hainanese Fried Mee (RM8.90+) – A serving size same like hawker stall, with 2x prawns, 2x to 3x fish cakes and a few vege slices, tasted too sweet for me. Why should we spend here then?

Chicken Porridge (RM7.90+) – It’s not comparable at all to the porridge offered at Mr Pot @ RM6.60 nett nor Roti Bakar Kopitiam fish porridge @ 6.20 nett one. Somemore this price of RM7.90 is for chicken, not fish. The porridge is teo chew ‘rice’ porridge type with peanuts and ikan bilis. The ikan bilis is not crispy enough and seemed to be starchy after continuous chewing.

Apollo Float (RM4.80 +) – ice cream plus roti?! Ice cream is ice cream, roti is roti. What’s that?! *OMG!*
